Margaritaville at sea will leave with Margaritaville Paradise, on a cruise from the port of Palm Beach. The line will operate two-night cruises from Florida to Freeport in the Bahamas.

“Margaritaville at Sea will be an exciting and fun new way for guests to get away from it all and vacation in Margaritaville,” John Cohlan, CEO of Margaritaville said in a press release. “From oceans to lakes, Margaritaville has an organic connection to water and with Margaritaville at Sea we are able to put our iconic lifestyle, resort experiences and high service right on the sea. seeing guests on and in paradise.

However, the new cruise line is not starting from scratch. This is a partnership with Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line. This line has been running from Palm Beach for years for fast and affordable trips to the Bahamas. These voyages appear to be continuing, but under a new name and with ship updates.

“We are delighted with this new partnership as we launch Margaritaville at Sea from the Port of Palm Beach,” said Oneil Khosa, CEO of Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line, who will become CEO of Margaritaville at Sea. We are incredibly proud of what we have built at Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line and appreciate our loyal customers and business partners who have supported us so much. We are excited about this next phase of our evolution, renamed Margaritaville at Sea.

Part of this rebranding is an update and refurbishment of Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line’s current ship, the Grand Classica. According to the company, the ship will feature “the relaxed-luxurious design of Margaritaville.”

5 o'clock somewhere bar
The Margaritaville Paradise will benefit from a renovation, creating a tropical atmosphere, like at 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar.

On the ship there will be JWB Prime Steak & Seafood, Frank and Lola’s Pizzeria, the Port of Indecision Buffet and the LandShark Sports Bar. There will also be several bars (including the 5 o’clock Somewhere Bar), a casino, a theater and the St. Somewhere Spa. In total, the new Margaritaville Paradise will feature 10 decks and 658 cabins.

The first change passengers will notice, however, will be the ship’s all-new paint job. Gone is the basic white hull, replaced with a much more tropical appeal, including new trim colors and a large mural of a parrot taking flight in the bow of the ship.

All modifications to the vessel should be made promptly. Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line offers cruises bookable until April 16, 2022. This trip returns to Palm Beach on April 18. Margaritaville Paradise’s inaugural navigation is scheduled for April 30. In other words, there are only 12 days left to completely rename the ship and prepare it for the passengers.

This rebranding of Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line is the latest addition to Margaritaville’s business line portfolio. Already, the name is attached to restaurants, casinos, resort hotels, and even retirement communities. The lifestyle brand’s tie-in makes a lot of sense with cruising, and there will undoubtedly be plenty of fans eager to set sail from April.

As mentioned, departures for Margaritaville Paradise begin April 30, 2022. The trips are two-day cruises from Palm Beach to the Bahamas. Rates start at $ 169 per person.
