ORLANDO, Florida. – Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish, promises to be one of the most magical ships the company has ever built.
The company shared details Thursday of the all-new Bibbidi Bobbidi boutique that will be on board.
“This magical experience offers pixie-based makeovers for kids ages 3 to 12, complete with hair, makeup, costumes and accessories – it’s a real favorite with Disney Cruise Line guests,” said Ashley Long, Director of Disney Cruise Line in a blog post. “The Walt Disney Imagineering team has created a storytelling lounge for our newest ship, which sets sail this summer.”

Disney said it will feature wooden details, beautiful chandeliers, and designs straight from the beloved classic, “Cinderella.”
While the families are there, children will have the opportunity to transform into a princess like Ariel from the “Little Mermaid”, a pirate or even a knight. Disney said on the Disney Wish, guests will also have the chance to become Captain Minnie Mouse or Captain Mickey Mouse, a first on a Disney cruise ship.
“Of course, an outfit isn’t complete without accessories! A nautical headband or captain’s hat will complete Minnie and Mickey’s new makeovers, while little Ariels can shine from head to toe with the matching necklace and tiara,” Long described.
The Disney Wish’s maiden voyage is scheduled for July 14 from Port Canaveral.
When guests step inside the new ship, they can explore immersive Disney worlds including “Frozen”, “Star Wars”, Marvel Superheroes and of course, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and their pals.
At approximately 144,000 gross tons and 1,250 guest cabins, the ship will be slightly larger than Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy.
