To celebrate this milestone, ABC’s Michael Koenigs and his family embarked on a 3-day adventure aboard “Disney Wish”, discovering all the new enchantments the sailboat had to offer.
The 1,119-foot German-built vessel features 15 adventure decks, including ten pools and water areas featuring Mickey Mouse, the Toy Story cast and other characters. The ship also features Disney’s first-ever at-sea attraction, the 760-foot waterslide called AquaMouse.
‘Disney Wish’ offers a variety of unique dining experiences, including a theatrical Frozen-themed feast set in the kingdom of Arendelle. Another restaurant invites customers to help Ant-Man and the Wasp in the cinematic “Avengers: Quantum Encounter” dining experience.
For those looking for adult cocktails, Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge transports guests via an upscale bar on a one-of-a-kind tour of a galaxy far, far away.
ABC Localish spoke with Josh D’Amaro, President of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products. “I feel a lot of pride today, walking through the Great Hall here for the first time and seeing the cast members and seeing guests on board gives me chills,” D’Amaro said. “I’ve been here almost 25 years, love this place, love the cast, love Disney.”
Disney is the parent company of ABC Localish.
