Silversea Cruises has unveiled new details on the 11th ship in its fleet, Silver Nova, which is scheduled for delivery in 2023.
Built with an asymmetrical design – a first for the cruise line – the new ship will offer more outdoor spaces for an unprecedented openness to the destination, with a reimagined, outward-facing pool deck; an outdoor dining area; and a sky bar offering a panoramic view from the rear of the ship.

Silver Nova’s asymmetrical design has enabled the creation of a reimagined swimming pool and new outdoor spaces on Decks 10 and 11. Each space focuses on the destination, with panoramic views that connect guests to the world beyond. . The following venues and deck spaces highlight Silver Nova’s all-new outdoor offering:
The Pool Deck – Decks 10/11
Silver Nova’s pool decks will be the main outdoor spaces for guests to relax, cool off and socialize, with enough space for 280 loungers on decks 10 and 11. The horseshoe-shaped pool will occupy generous space on the starboard side of the ship. , offering stunning views from the swimming pool, adjacent pool bar and sunbathing areas.
Deck 10’s pool bar offers a centralized hub for socializing, day or night. The highest level of the ship, Deck 11, forms an amphitheater-like structure with Deck 10. It will provide passengers with a quieter and more intimate space to relax, with stunning views of the destination and the sea. At its center, overlooking the port side of the ship, stretches a brand new infinity hot tub, named The Cliff Whirlpool.
The Marquee – Deck 10
The new design has enabled the introduction of two new dining and drinking areas on deck 10. The marquee is the first of the pair, positioned towards the stern of the vessel on the port side and enjoying sea views The outdoor dining venue will host up to 220 guests and will incorporate highlights from The Grill and Spaccanapoli, two of Silversea’s existing signature venues.
The Dusk Bar – Deck 10
The second of two new food and drink venues, The Dusk Bar is a brand new open-air bar that offers a stylish space for up to 70 people to enjoy a drink, with 270-degree panoramic views from the stern of the Silver Nova.
Of its eight restaurants, Silver Nova will offer guests a selection of Silversea’s signature restaurants on Decks 3 and 4. The largest of Silver Nova’s restaurants, La Terrazza, will seat 340 people. Floor-to-ceiling windows will surround the restaurant’s interior space, while its outdoor terrace will be bigger than ever.
Atlantide will accommodate 270 guests on Deck 3 as the ship’s second largest restaurant, with a new interior design. Silversea’s signature French restaurant, La Dame, will be more spacious than ever on Deck 4, with an expanded capacity of 70 diners and higher ceilings.
Taking inspiration from the world’s best sushi restaurants, Kaiseki will retain its minimalist and sophisticated aesthetic, welcoming up to 40 guests on Deck 4. More information on Silver Nova’s extensive culinary offerings will be released soon.
In addition to incorporating a new design approach, Silver Nova is set to become the world’s first low-emission cruise ship with advanced hybrid technology that uses fuel cells, emitting zero harmful emissions in port. , an industry first.
Silver Nova will accommodate up to 728 guests in 13 different suite categories, the largest variety of suites in Silversea’s history. Each onboard suite will offer guests the use of a private veranda.
