Virgin Voyages has announced that the resilient lady The cruise ship will head down in 2023 after its sailing season in Greece. This will be the first time the cruise line has sailed to Australia and the Pacific Rim, as until now ships have only been based in the United States and Europe.
Resilient Lady to Sail Australia
As Virgin Voyages expands to have four ships sailing in 2023, the cruise line has announced it will offer sailings to Australia and New Zealand with the resilient lady. The Virgin cruise ship, which will enter service this summer, will head down after its season in Greece.

New Cruises for Resilient Ladies
resilient lady will depart on a 44-day transcontinental journey from Athens, Greece to Sydney, Australia. The longer trip can also be split into three shorter itineraries, with a cruise from Athens to Dubai, Dubai to Singapore, and then a cruise with Singapore, Bali and Australia. The Virgin cruise ship will finally arrive at its new home port in Melbourne, Australia.

resilient lady will begin operating 2-14 night voyages from the Port of Melbourne in Victoria. The ship will begin these crossings on December 11, 2023 and will continue to offer Australia and New Zealand cruises until March 27, 2024.
The Virgin Voyages ship will be one of the most anticipated cruise ships to ever sail to the region due to its alternative, adults-only cruise experience. Richard Branson’s cruise line has already made waves in the UK, Europe and the Caribbean with its unique gray and red ships.
The new crossings for resilient lady are now open and customers can save up to 30% on travel fares. The vessel weighs 110,000 gross tons and has a capacity of 2,700 passengers based on double occupancy.
